Web 2.0 is basically an "updated" version of the World Wide Web per say. It is not a change in technology, but a change in the way the technology is used. It allows users to be more interactive with each other and share information more freely. Common components of Web 2.0 are wikis, blogs, social media sites, etc.

Warm-up TDM
I would use todaysmeet to begin a discussion in math class like a warm-up from a previous topic, or find out what they already know about the topic we will be discussing. I would make sure I have the laptop cart for that day. I would leave the directions on my sreen.
The kids usually trickle in from other rooms. This would give those that are here to opportunity to start working right away, and allow that are late to easily check-in to what the missed when they come.

How I might use a wiki page in my class -
I would consider using a wiki page to share information with my teammates. We do some team planning, and this would be a good way to share documents and videos that I have used and found effective.
I could also use a Wiki page to share information with parents. Instead of sending home newsletters I could post new information, homework assignments, and coming topics.
